The following terms and conditions, also referred to as policies, apply to all reservations.

Reservation Policy

  1. Full payment (100% of the reservation total) is required to secure a reservation.

  2. Please note that we are unable to accommodate anyone under eighteen.

  3. The Garden Suite is an unstaffed, private, independent, self-contained apartment, accessed by contactless self-check-in (lockbox access). No host or room services are included, unless otherwise stated in your package inclusions. The Jasmine Room is staffed, with guests checked in by the host.

  4. Check-in is from 3:00pm to 9:00pm unless otherwise agreed. All guests are required to advise us in advance, of their approximate time of arrival, so as to help facilitate your stay. Where a guest fails to check-in by 9:00pm (or their agreed time), the reservation shall be deemed a no-show, at which point the room/s becomes available to be re-booked. Check-out is by 10:00am. If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in/check-out outside of these times, you must book additional nights to suit your travel requirements. 

  5. The guest making the reservation, is required to provide the first and last name of each guest booked to stay. You can provide this information during the booking process, in the special requests section. Alternatively you may email this information to us using the contact form below. 

  6. This property is strictly for booked and paying guests only. Visitors are not permitted on or in the property, at any time during your stay. This policy has been adopted for the comfort and safety of the hosts and other guests. We reserve the right to terminate the reservation of guests who breach this policy. No refunds will be provided in these instances. 

  7. Any included breakfast provisions are self-serve/self-prepare and will be in your room at check-in. We do not run kitchen facilities at this property or provide any cooked meals. Substitutions/special requests are not offered. 

  8. Room servicing is not included for stays of 7 or fewer days. Guests who stay 8 or more days will be provided a tailored quote, including one room service every 7 days (additional fees apply). This service will be done at a time scheduled in advance with guests. Guests in the Garden Suite should allow up to 2hrs for room servicing (1hr for the Jasmine Room). A room service will include a basic clean and change of all linens.

  9. Parties and/ other events/gatherings are not permitted.

  10. Pets are not permitted. 

  11. All areas of this property is are strictly non-smoking.

  12. Office hours are 9:00am-5:30pm. Guests are welcome to make contact via phone or email.

  13. Modifications to confirmed reservations are not offered/available. This includes cancelling some nights of your stay and adding or removing guests.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our cancellation policy is 30 days. We are a small, family run property. Cancellations have an adverse impact on our business, as rooms are often difficult to re-book at the last minute. With this in mind guests should consider taking appropriate travel insurance to cover any changes in their plans. The following cancellation policy applies to all reservations:

  1. Single night bookings, same day bookings, no-shows and reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable and cannot be modified. No refund also means no credit.

  2. Reservations cancelled within 31 or more days of the arrival date, will be refunded, less a cancellation fee equivalent to the first nights tariff. Surcharges and merchant processing/credit card fees are non-refundable. 

  3. Reservations within 31 days or more of arrival, where some (not all) of the booked dates are cancelled or dates changed (where that is available), will incur a $50.00AUD administrative fee.

  4. Please allow up to 10 business days for merchant processing and bank time frames, for any refund to be completed. A refund receipt/notification will be issued to the same email address provided in the booking form.

  5. All cancellations/booking modification requests must be advised in writing via email to jacarandahousebandb@gmail.com
